Hello everyone! Happy Friday! Any interesting plans for the weeken?
As promised I bring you today the three Catrice Limited Edition Big City life palettes swatches. Basically, this palettes come with 6 eyeshadow, 2 blushes, 1 mini Eye pencil an 1 double ended applicator sponge in one end and brush in the other. The package is carton box, with quite pretty images of the cities.
Onto the swatches: Note that all the swatches have been done over clear & clean skin, no primers, no mosturizer, nada!

First is The Paris Collection Eye and Cheek palette:

From left to right: La Tour Eiffel, Louvre, Sacré-cœur, Seine,
Champs Elysées, Notre-Dame

La Tour Eiffel is a beautiful colour, dark taupish grey, or greish taupe :) with great pigmentation and opacity. This was my favourite of the palette. Another great, great colour is Notre-Dame.
Champs Elysées is a very very pale milky pink matte, which would have been perfect for highlighting, IF there wouldn't have been the subtle-ever-falling-out-glitter, that actually, in my opinion, ruins all the matte effect and you end up getting micro glitter all over the place. Champs Elysées was also the one with less opacity and payoff, and the glitter (why Catrice?) made it feel a little gritty. For the rest, the Paris eyeshadows were all very soft, smooth application, and good pigmentation and opacity.

The Blushes for left to right: Moulin Rouge, Arc de triomph
The Paris blushes are quite good,in fact I think they're the best of the three palettes. Nevertheless, you could find better blushes in drugstores. Still, they're soft and their pigmentation is quite good, though not the best you'd find out there. The good thing is that they're actually wearable, and not like other combined palettes I own. Moulin Rouge has a little golden shimmer, but is discreet. Arc the Triomph is very soft and has good pigmentation. I haven't worn these very long time, so I couldn't say about fading away soon or not.
